This years Kid's Christmas was a huge success. Over 2,000 people recieved a free hot turkey meal and 120 food boxes were given away. Also, children were entertained by Santa Clause doing readings from the book of Matthew in both English and Spanish. Entertainment also came in the form of a few different bounce houses for the children, a clown, and live music performed in the parking lot.
Also, a huge thank you to the 140 volunteers from over 10 different churches here in the community. 316 families recieved gifts from the school district program. And, 85 more families recieved gifts from outside of the school program. In total, more than 2,000 gifts were given away this year making this year's Kid's Christmas' one of the best. We hope to have an even larger turn out next year!
